[iPHONE 6+] Help? AT&T Customer Service - Horrible

Like many who are on here, I suffered the "your order is on hold due to an issue with your CC" email. 

 

Initial order place Friday 12 Sept 2014 @ 06:55 CST.  (knowing I was a few hours late to the game, and would have to wait atleast a week or two extra)

 

I called in and re-entered my CC info after receiving the email, the automated system said it was accepted.

 

I waited until Monday, no confirmation.  So I called in, spoke with a rep and they said oh, let me enter it again.  They did... said well seems like it's fine.  You should receive an email confirmation.  I asked if this would reset my "place" in line... they assured me it would not since the original order wasn't cancelled.

 

Wednesday, I called in again, still no confirmation.  The CSR said that it didn't process.  Said looks like something is wrong.  Asked for my name off the card etc... the CSR said let me try it without the JR on the end of your name... Ok, sure... so we try this.  The CSR said, looks good now, should process no problems!  I was releived, and yet again assured I wouldn't lose my original order place in line.

 

Today- STILL no confirmation.  I try the automated system yet again.  The automated system told me it was accepted, yet again.  Except this time I received a text message instantly that it was processed.

 

Check online at the order status, and it shows order date today (18Sept2014), and shipping sometime between 11/09/14 - 11/27/14.

 

This is ridiculous!  I've have ALWAYS ordered through Apple, because it has always been FLAWLESS.  Every order I've ever had with AT&T on any of my 6 phone lines SOMETHING has always gone wrong.  I thought I might have a better chance at getting a device on time with AT&T on this go around.  I was wrong. 

 

Customer service reps must have been trained to lie to get the customer off the phone on these prelaunch troubleshooting calls.

 

So now I'm stuck wating until November sometime, for NO fault of my own... Anything I can do other then complain or cancel?

 

T-Mobile is sounding better everyday... which is sad because I've been with AT&T since I was originally a Cingular customer.  Had this account for 10 yrs now...
