Hi, I've recently bought an iPhone 5 off the internet it was unlocked and there was no iCloud connected to it. I figured it was safe and legit. About a week later when I bought the correct SIM card for it and turned my phone on , my data went off about 30 minutes later and my phone company said that AT&T reported the phone stolen, and that they would have to take the restriction off in order for the phone to work again. I don't know enough information to give the phone back to the ORIGINAL owner. So what do I do? Can you guys lift the restriction off? I honestly didn't know about this.
