Upgrade

I'm up for any early upgrade. And I want to do the next plan when the new iPhone comes out. I have a very very tiny crack at the top of my phone. You can't hardly see it. But i was told to make sure it's okay to early next plan first before I did it. So I don't get charged $200. I just need some help on figuring out what to do! Let me know please thanks!
