Cannot send or receive phone calls since 8am this morning on my iPhone 5S

I've updated to the latest version for iPhone once I discovered it was not working.  I managed to receive one callback from ATT and then nothing after.  I am literally stranded with no way to talk to someone.  Please help me!!
