I have a peronal ATT iPhone 4 that is no longer under contract and paid in full.
I ported my personal phone number to my company account and purchased a new phone/contract.
I have tried to request unlocking the old iPhone 4 but it keeps getting rejected saying that the account holder information is incorrect.
I am using the personal (not business) unlock request form.
ATT has told me all kinds of conflicting and seemingly stupid things from only Apple can unlock my iPhone and that I should call them, to I must have the company that now holds my old phone number request the unlock of my personal phone.
How can I get ATT to comply with the unlock regulation?
