Order canceled for two Iphone 6+ phones

I ordered two iPhone 6+ 64G (gold and silver) phones 9/20. In october I changed my credit card on my account and the previous card was canceled. When time came to ship my iphone order (yesterday 11/7/14) the old card was was the one ATT used and of course it was not active.

 

You canceled my order (no funds available) without contacting me or checking my account to determine the current card number.

 

Bummer for me because now I have to reorder and wait another month or longer. Too bad you can't place an order on hold for 24 hours and contact your customer to clear the problem.

 

I did spend over 2 hours Friday (11/7) on the phone with your support folks to finally determine what had happened. They were nice but could not reinstate my order nor could they place a new order. They kindly let me know that I had to go to a store for that. At the store they could not place my order yet because the canceled order had not yet cleared the computer system so they could not confirm my elgibility. Another call to support let us know that it takes 24 - 48 hours for the computer system to update with the new information. 

 

I'll need to return to a store once more to place the order.

 

Bummer.
