I just read this article and apparently Apple has secretly changed the hardware of the iPhone 6 Plus to keep it from bending. That would explain the delays. It also explains why there is suddenly a bunch of orders being shipped all of sudden in the last few days. So I hope that means we will all get our phones soon.
