ATT says USPS Delivered IPhone 6 to Incorrect Address

I'm trying to figure out what my options are as AT&T is being extremely difficult. My phone shipped late last week and USPS tracking shows it as delivered but to a completly different state.

I started a chat with ATT where I was told I would have to contact my local store as that's where I bought it from and they are on the only ones who can help at this point.

I called my local store and was told I would have to file a claim with USPS and USPS was responsible for making this right and providing me with a new IPhone.  The stores stance was that ATT had completed their obligation by mailing the phone.  I don't even think I can start a claim since I have no paperwork showing the shipment was made besides a tracking number from ATT. When I asked to speak with a manager I was put on hold and after 30 minutes I eventually had to hang up.

I called ATT corporate and was originally told that yes I would have to deal with USPS as it was ATT's stance that their obligation ended with the shipment.  Eventually they agreed to talk to USPS and would let me know what they determine.  They say they need to determine why USPS delivered to the incorrect address before they do anything about getting me a phone.

I have not heard back from ATT yet but after waiting weeks for the IPhone 6 to ship I feel like best case is it's going to be several more weeks before I get the phone. Worst case is I have to fight USPS and I don't even know where that will end up.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to get ATT to make this right and ship out a new phone ASAP? Is it possible I was given an incorrect tracking number? I have tried to get ATT to confirm the tracking number is accurate but they don't seem too interested in that idea at this time.
